Well, OPPO is getting set to launch its successor the OPPO Find X6, and a new report just revealed that the incoming Find X6 phone will be an even better camera phone.
Most people love the camera sensors and features available on the OPPO Find X5 phones. But, if you think the photos and videos from the Find X5 phones are good, well wait until you see the camera details of the incoming OPPO Find X6 phones.
OPPO Find X6 Camera and Specs (Leaked)
A new report posted on Weibo by a Chinese leakster said that the incoming OPPO Find X6 will have three 50MP camera sensors on the rear. The more interesting news about this report is that one of the 50MP sensors will be the Sony IMX989. This camera sensor has only been featured in the Xiaomi 12S Ultra and is expected to also feature in the incoming Xiaomi 13 Pro.
This means the OPPO Find X6 will be joining a list of exclusive phones to feature this new sensor. What makes the Sony IMX 989 sensor unique is that it comes with a 1-inch outsole and this is the largest in the industry right now. The benefits of the new sensor are:
- 172% larger photosensitive area
- 76% larger photosensitive capacity;
- 32.5% faster camera speed;
- 11% faster startup speed;
- It supports chip-level 4K HDR night scene video shooting.
If the rumors are anything to go by, the OPPO Find X6 will also have a vanilla and PRO model. Both models are expected to feature the new Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset along with OPPO’s own custom chip, Mariana MariSiliacon X.
This means that the Find X6 phones will be better than the Find X5 phones in at least two areas. One will be the camera because of the new Sony IMX989 sensor, and two the performance because of the new Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset.
We expect OPPO to launch these phones in China by the end of this year and sales might begin early next year. More details of the OPPO Find X6 phones are expected to be revealed in the coming weeks. So keep watching this space for more updates.
