After rumours, OnePlus has confirmed the launch of OnePlus Pad, the company’s first tablet in India, on February 7th. The company has already confirmed the launch of OnePlus 11, Buds Pro 2, OnePlus TV 65 Q2 Pro, OnePlus Keyboard and OnePlus 11R at the event.
“What more can you expect? Boxes come in all shapes and sizes” says the teaser. It also shows the tablet in a green colour with a large screen, minimal bezels and a large camera cut-out with a single rear camera with LED flash that is comfortable to use even when holding the tablet horizontally, according to the company.
OnePlus said that it has self-developed Star Orbit metal craft integrated with an aluminum alloy CNC. The tablet has a cambered frame, and the arc is designed in line with ergonomics that allows users to hold the tablet comfortably for an extended period of time without fatigue, says OnePlus.
We still don’t have any of the specifications of the OnePlus Pad, but based on rumours, the tablet will feature an 11.6-inch display. The design makes it clear that this will not be a rebranded OPPO tablet.
To remind you, the OPPO Pad features an 11-inch 2.5K LCD screen and there is also a OPPO Pad Air with a 10.36″ 2K display, which is also available in India.
The tablet will come in Halo Green, OnePlus says that this color evokes life, and passion, while it’s a possibility to mirror the power of nature with rawness, strength, and vitality.
We should know more details in the coming days.
