After teasers, HONOR has confirmed the launch of HONOR 80 GT in China on December 26th. This comes after the launch of HONOR 80 series in November. The teaser shows triple rear cameras, meteor-like effect for the back, and the text also confirms 54MP 1/1.49″ sensor, which should be IMX800.
Based on earlier rumours, the phone will still use the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 Soc, which will be under clocked to 3GHz from 3.2GHz, and it is said to feature a 1.5K 120Hz OLED screen with support for, 1920Hz high-frequency PWM dimming.
Online listings confirm 12GB+256GB and 16GB+256GB models as well as Interstellar Black, Streamer Mirror and Light Rain Meteor colour variants for the phone.
Along with the HONOR 80 GT, the company will also introduce the HONOR V8 Pro tablet running with MagicOS 7.0. The teaser image confirms stylus support and keyboard dock for the tablet.
